You’ve taken the first big step by hiring expert furniture removalists to help smooth the process on moving day. But in order to get the most bang for your buck, there are a few tips to help you save even more money during the move.
1. Moving boxes
Movers charge by the hour, so help them do the most efficient job possible by packing up your possessions ahead of time. Invest in identical heavy duty packing boxes sealed with packaging tape. These containers are especially essential for items like books and records which can easily split standard issue cartons. By buying crates which are all the same size, the removalists will be able to save space by stacking boxes upon one another.
